WOYWW #226

Hello and welcome to the first WOYWW of October - that's OCTOBER people! Even if you're not a Christmas fan you're going to have to start thinking about it soon!

(Wondering what WOYWW is? go here to Julia's place for the low down)

Not such a fun week here this week, I'm doing some "admin" and trying to tidy up a bit. I have a big pile of stamps which I just haven't got round to cataloguing (I'm an ex librarian and old habits die hard!) So I thought I'd get those done and clear the decks ready for my next Dictionary Challenge page and my October Tim tag....

That was the plan - but in reality it is all taking rather longer than anticipated!

So this is the organised chaos on my desk today...

I did three hours yesterday but the pile doesn't seem to be getting much smaller - I'm hoping some of the stamps at the bottom of the heap are ones I didn't file away after use and have already been catalogued!

Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday wander around the workdesks of the world and I hope to catch up with you soon.

  2. I always think that the type of stamps featured on someone's desk is a good indicator of personality! I like the fact that most of yours are quite stylised and not frilly, of you know what I mean. The balloons are great fun, as are the sort of lollipop flowers. I much prefer graphic style of art rather than lifelike, patterns float my boat!
    So now you know, lol!!

  5. Morning Maisie,

Hate to admit it but your desk of stamps etc. strongly resembles parts of my home. I like to think of it as 'organized chaos'. Other would call is 'untidy' ( they just have no 'vision' . Enjoy your sorting. X X Flo

  15. Now I know that you want to get them organized, but I can't help commenting on how lucky you are to have all those lovely stamps - frustrating as it must be to catalogue them all! Sorry I'm a bit late visiting as we just got back from our visit to the Globe Theatre! Macbeth was brilliant. Since I started crafting the costumes inspire me to create projects! Thanks for your visit earlier. Have a great week! Julie Ann xx #56
